Agnel Polytechnic celebrated India’s Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by a rendition of “Vande Mataram”, filling the campus with a strong sense of patriotism and national pride. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, as students and staff came together to honour the spirit of freedom and the sacrifices of our nation’s freedom fighters.

The celebrations continued with a vibrant cultural programme presented by the students. The programme began with an inspiring speech by a student, highlighting the significance of Independence Day and the values of freedom, unity and responsible citizenship.

This was followed by a creative presentation titled “Puzzle Called India”, which showcased the diversity, unity and rich cultural heritage of our nation. A lively dance performance added colour and energy to the celebrations, engaging the audience with its spirited presentation.

The programme concluded with a medley of patriotic songs, creating an atmosphere of pride, unity and love for the nation.

The celebration served as a meaningful tribute to India’s journey towards freedom and reminded everyone of their responsibility to uphold the values of unity, diversity, integrity and responsible citizenship.
