Agnel Polytechnic warmly welcomed the newly admitted First Year students and their parents to the Agnel family on 29th June 2026 with an Orientation Programme held on the campus.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Rev. Fr. Agnelo Gomes, Director of Agnel Technical Education Complex, who greeted the students and parents and encouraged them to make the most of the opportunities available at the institution. Rev. Fr. Vicky Hilario, Assistant Director, also graced the occasion.

The Principal, Dr. Rickey T. P. Nunes, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of discipline, commitment, and hard work in achieving academic and professional success.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Vernon Almeida, Manager – Operations, CommScope Private Limited, Verna, shared inspiring experiences from his student life and highlighted the significance of education, perseverance, and continuous learning in building a successful career.

Parents were briefed on the academic programme, institutional policies, and student support services. Students were also taken on a guided tour of the campus to familiarize them with the facilities and departments.

An awareness session on "Positive Mental Health of Students and Tele-MANAS" was conducted for the parents by Dr. Arpita Sirsikar, Psychiatrist. The session emphasized the importance of mental well-being among students and created awareness about the counselling and support services available through Tele-MANAS.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Orientation Programme concluded on a positive note, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the new students at Agnel Polytechnic.
