Institution Innovation Council
The Institution Innovation Council of Agnel Polytechnic was constituted on October 9, 2023 as per guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The IIC of our college aims to develop an ecosystem which systematically fosters an innovative mindset and to encourage and nurture promising startups from within the student community.
The IIC is responsible to drive innovation and entrepreneurship activities in Agnel Polytechnic. The goal of IIC is to motivate students and faculty to develop their creative skills and explore opportunities towards a career as an entrepreneur by organizing various activities like workshops, guest lectures, networking events, awareness talks, hackathons/ideathons/bootcamps, etc. Various celebration events listed in the IIC portal of MOE may also be celebrated within our campus.
The IIC would also endeavour to facilitate obtaining grants from Government, non-Government and CSR bodies so as to develop a vibrant culture promoting entrepreneurship and innovations within the campus. It is envisaged that the IIC of Agnel Polytechnic develops a mentor pool for students to address their technical problems to as to obtain viable solutions to practical issues using technical know-how.All activities conducted by IIC , resolutions, council meetings, action plans are being posted on relevant social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and the IIC portal of MHRD.
The long-term vision of the IIC of our college is to be in the forefront of nurturing entrepreneurs to develop commercially viable and environment friendly technical solutions to problems faced by society while also providing a platform and thrust to young students to develop into entrepreneurs of tomorrow with an innovative mindset.
Towards realizing this outlined roadmap, the IIC of Agnel Polytechnic has organized various activities and will march forward in future towards becoming a vibrant startup hub for budding entrepreneurs within our student community.
