Field Visit to Solid Waste Management Plant, Cacora

First year Computer Engineering students visited the Solid Waste Management Plant at Cacora, Goa on 13-3-2025. The visit aimed to provide students with an insightful look into the processes involved in waste collection, segregation, recycling, and disposal. During the tour, students learned about various waste management techniques, including the handling of organic waste, recyclable materials, and hazardous waste.

The visit not only enhanced the students' understanding of waste management practices but also highlighted the importance of sustainable practices in preserving the environment. It was an educational experience that connected real-world environmental solutions with the theoretical knowledge gained in their studies.
