Institution’s Innovation Council of Agnel Polytechnic, Verna organized TechSrujan 2k24 - an annual festival of technical competitions at its campus on October 8, 2024. There was tremendous excitement and buzz among the students which was palpable throughout the Polytechnic as the D-day drew closer.

Techsrujan featured seven different technical competitions, which encouraged the students to exhibit their technical know-how and skills.

In the Tech-Talk competition, the students  presented the latest innovations and developments in various technical fields while Auto-Sketch showcased the participants artistic talent and creative thinking through designing and sketching an automobile design. A truss-making competition named Atal-Setu saw students bracking their brains to build trusses from sticks and in Tech-Art, the ability of participants to think out-of-the-box was brought to the fore since they needed to create artwork using  technical waste material.. Scratch-O-Mania tested the logical skills of participants wherein they were called upon to design interactive games using Scratch software while in the Orthovision competition, the participating students had to draw orthographic projections of an object. The icing on the cake of Techsrujan 2k24  was a mini-project competition named Inno-Vision which saw an enthusiastic response from  students to demonstrate their problem-solving skills by developing prototypes to solve real-world problems.

TechSrujan 2k24 received accolades from the various judges, who appreciated the wholhearted participation of the students and the meticulous planning and organisation of the entire event. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony which was graced by the management of Agnel Polytechnic and ex-Principal Subhash Lotliker.

The event was organised by the Institution’s Innovation Council with various faculty and student co-ordinators overseeing the smooth conduct of each competition.
