Diploma in Automobile Engineering programme was started in the year 1985 and is a four year’s sandwich pattern Diploma programme incorporating one year of in-plant training as a part of the course curriculum. The Automobile Engineering Department has well qualified staff who are committed to provide a sound academic ambience to the students for the development of young brains into industry ready professionals of the future. Besides high quality teaching, the practical knowledge of students is enhanced through experiments in well-equipped laboratories, Expert Lectures by eminent persons from Industry, periodic seminars, workshops, industrial visits and in-plant trainings as an integral part of the course. The department adopts flexible and innovative teaching, learning style, thus enabling the students to gain sound technical knowledge blended with meticulous, practical skills and creativity to excel in their profession. The department is consistently producing technically trained manpower to meet the ever-increasing demands of automobile sector in Goa, neighbouring states and foreign countries as well.
